Why do they say neither make yourself too high nor too low? Let’s examine this.
I’m calling upon the spirit of the all good. The being beyond all beings. The light of all lights. The love of all loves. The essence of all essences. The presence of all presences. The prime creator. Our true identity. We can think of this. re -existing unity as our true home, our true parents, our true selves, depending on which perspective we’re looking at it from at any given moment. And you can see it through the lens of any religion or spiritual tradition as you wish. It’s calling upon that spirit of God’s source love to guide this session in service to our ongoing awakening. more and more to the truth of our preexistent unity with humility and grace, humility and grace. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. So be it and so it is.
Why neither make yourself too high nor too low? This teaching is directly related to the teaching on non -judgment.
When we judge others, it is said that we judge ourselves. Why is this? Well, because we and others are one, and we are our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers, as scriptures of old traditions tell us. So if there is a preexistent unity and we all came from it and we’re all returning to it and we’re having an experience in imagining that we are separated, individuated beings that are not one, then the truth of our oneness underneath that set of beliefs that we’ve been experiencing here in this plane still never changes. So in this maze called Maya, or illusion, or reality, or the world, whatever you choose to call that which we have been experiencing here, we’ve been under the delusion that there are many different beings running around.
Having many different beings is the only way we could experience this thing called separation, and it’s said that we’ve chosen that experience in order to learn and grow as spiritual soul beings. It is said that it is one of the hardest, most difficult things to do, and that we shall all overcome it one day in terms of coming back full circle to the realization of our preexistent unity.
And we’re in such a time right now where we have been slowly, slowly, slowly returning to the awareness and the inkling of our preexistent unity. And everybody’s in a different place on the path of that awakening. And everybody is in their own perfect place. So judge not lest ye be judged harkens back. to that truth and also to the law, the great law about all things, which says that which goes out comes back.
So, as we have been dancing around and playing in this maze called Maya, the world illusion, reality as it seems to be, we’ve been bonking around a little bit in forgetfulness, not remembering that others and ourselves are in fact one. So when we judge, cast aspersions, demean, belittle, slander, gossip, or do anything other than see and hold others in the highest light of the remembrance of who they really are and who we really are, then it opens up the repercussion, the boomerang, to come back to us to experience that again, because truly the world is a reflection. And that which goes out comes back again. So it is the core of enlightened self-interest to learn not to do this.
However, because of our limited perception that came about by the choice of this particular timeline and this particular reality experience that we’ve been in, we have indeed and in fact chosen to and been maybe even trained to and maybe even not even. not even have any control over ourselves when we went about having a perception that looked upon others as if they were bad, wrong, or guilty of something. Or perhaps we were hurt by their actions or they were hurt by our actions. And perception is tricky because you can think of perception as being from a limited perspective rather than from the perspective of our pre-existent unity.
Now, not to go on a tangent, but this is why the great master teachers have people sit and reflect upon the inner self noticing all the thoughts because the thoughts are creating our experience reality and thoughts lead to perception which lead to action which lead to more repercussions of experience back to us And so when we sit and we still our thoughts, we begin to notice that they’re like leaves on the river and that they are not us.
And in fact, they are creating the experience we’re having in reality. So that practice leads us gently back to the realization that our thoughts is what’s creating, is what has been creating our experience. And this keeps repercussing and repercussing until we get it and stop. and start the reflective process. We self-reflect to self-correct.
So gossip, mild gossip about someone else in their situation, all the way to slander, is, you can think of it like a spectrum of the same thing, of putting out something that’s not in the highest light of another. towards them in order to shape public perception or in order to make oneself feel better. Talking about others behind their back or planting seeds of division and discord between and among people is something that the ego mind wants to do to protect itself because it does not wish to be seen as the guilty one.
When we are in punishment-and-judgment mode, we’re making someone guilty. And we’re making someone wrong. Since the universe says that which goes out comes back, then the repercussion in consciousness is that we ourselves feel guilty or wrong. And guilt equals punishment. So some kind of feeling of punishment, or of having experienced something punishing, will likely come back when we do these things. And it may not be immediate. or it may be kind of like instant karma is going to get you kind of thing either way though what we put out comes back what you see is what you get makes me think of that that pop song what you see is what you get and so that’s why perception is a choice even though it usually doesn’t feel like a choice now
The elephant is a big, huge, whole animal, but tiny people looking at the elephant from different angles and only seeing a part of it. This creature is like a huge tree stump with nails, with toenails. No, no, no. This creature is like a big fire hose. No, no, no. This teacher is like a floppy plant with a huge leaf. No, no, no. This creature is a… is a rough skinned piece of cement. You know, in other words, each person seeing the limited picture is going to see a part of the whole, and none of us sees the whole thing.
That’s why it’s said only God can judge. Only the absolute reality, which knows everything about everyone and everything, because it is everyone and everything, can see. the whole picture and is therefore able to discern who someone is, why they did what they did, what happened to them before, what led them to this moment where they did what they did, and all of the things that could have resulted in a rendezvous where you, seeing from your limited perspective, would have chosen to judge them, but you don’t have the capacity to do that correctly because you can’t see that big picture.
And when I say you, I mean we, none of us here, that’s human beings. And so this is why forgiveness is grand. This is why unconditional love is grand. This is why non -attachment is grand. We need to be non-attached, non -attached even to our own perspective and our own perception, and to question it. And we learn through experience. So sometimes we have to bonk around in experience and get whiplash, get a kickback of energy to see what we’ve been doing. But most of the time, we don’t know that’s what’s happening.
So we judge others, blame others, or blame circumstances for it. Now, we’re all doing this very innocently. Some are doing it less. innocently in the sense of they might know what they’re doing of blaming someone to cast aspersions against so that to protect themselves but for the most part this is all what we call very tamasic or very unconscious behavior and the truth of the truth of the truth is we’re all innocent so do you want to be the judge sitting there enacting you know punishments and sitting there and saying Off with your head. She’s guilty like the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland.
Or do you want to be like the one who says, I see you. I love you. You’re innocent. You didn’t know what you were doing. You had all this buildup of conditioning and everything else that caused you to behave that way. I love you. You’re always the preexistent unity. You’re a part of me. You’re having experience here. I love you. I forgive you. When we love and forgive, then we actually receive that forgiveness ourselves because we are part of that preexistent unity. And that which goes out from us comes back to us because it’s the self-reflective universe. We self-reflect, self-correct.
When we get beaten up enough by life sometimes, we finally get to the crux of the biscuit. We finally get to the core message. We finally get to the core offering about judgment. and why it is said and why we are admonished in all the religions not to judge others but to forgive 70 times 7 which is forever basically or maybe 70 times 70 like how many times should we forgive 70 times 70 what does that mean that means you never stop judging you start you you keep forgiving until the thing is complete until the energy cycle of the repercussing blame and shaming and punishment, judgment, guilt, fear is gone from you until it is no more. And we can look upon our brothers and sisters with the eyes of innocence and forgiveness.
Does this mean nothing’s ever happened and nothing’s ever been experienced as negative or bad? No, of course not. I mean, ultimately, in the ultimate sense, when people are ready to examine this reality, they find behind it the seed of emptiness, that really it is an illusion. It’s a mind play. It’s a play of, it’s a drama within our very own minds. In the meantime, while we’re still here and thinking it’s real, the experience itself is really real. Even if these things are Maya mind stuff, the experience is real. So there’s great compassion for the experience because we’ve got so far into it that we… have forgotten. We forget.
We forgot that we did this to ourselves. We forgot that things went on before. We don’t realize how what happened to our ancestors, what happened to us in past lives, how we ourselves were judged, how we judged others, all compounded to create a repercussion of action that we’ve been experiencing. Sometimes it takes great pressure to bring a being to the final surrender of this need or desire to gossip or slander others. Eventually, we’ll all get it. I trust and know within myself that we will all eventually get it. And it’s not necessarily easy because we believe what we believe and we perceive what we perceive. But this is where turning things over to the higher power comes in. This is where taking full personal responsibility for our lives comes in.
This is where self-correction turns into self-reflection. And it is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful thing to come to the realization that, to the choice that we ourselves wish to practice this truth of seeing innocence in others. to giving them their innocence even if they’ve behaved badly, to seeing their innocence even if in our perception at some moment we don’t understand their behavior, to seeing their preexistent unity with us as brothers and sisters, and to offer them that truth, to choose to see the truth of them rather than whatever their behavior is showing us at that time. And in order to do that, it’s two things. One, it’s about questioning our own perception and realizing that it does not see the whole picture of this soul. And secondly, it’s out of the desire for renunciation of the tendency to make things worse by judging them. It makes things worse not only for ourselves, but also for others.
And so there’s great compassion for us as we make our way through this maze. And there’s great patience for us. And it’s going to take as long as it takes for every soul to get it. However, hallelujah, praise the Lord, praise the law within us all. We’re crescendoing now to a dawning realization of this truth. So if you find yourself in a situation where you’re either judging someone or being judged, the first thing to do is to love and forgive yourself. Love and forgive yourself and call upon innocence. And then we turn around and become willing to see the innocence of the others as well, even though from our perspective at that moment, it may not look real.
And the willingness itself does the work. The willingness itself does the work. Sometimes we have to be willing to be willing to be willing because some of these situations that we’ve co -created have turned into scenarios that absolutely do not feel good. Nobody likes to be judged. Nobody likes to be blamed. Nobody likes to be thrown under the bus, slandered, called names, or have aspersions cast on them. But what’s it going to take to finally learn that lesson? That we ought not to do it and that we ought not to gossip. We ought not to choose. If somebody comes to us and tries to talk bad about another person, we ought to choose not to do that.
We ought to choose not to engage in it. We ought to choose to realize that there’s much more going on than meets the eye. Much, much more is going on than meets the eye. There’s information we don’t know. A lot of what happens is like telephone tag. It’s third -party information. It makes no sense. So do you want to have compassion for your brothers and sisters? Or do you want to participate in the slowboat home of bonking around in judgment, slander, and gossip? It’s really the choices for each one of us. And again, the prime creator has absolutely no judgment on itself and its aspects, which are all of us in what it chooses. However, when we suffer enough in our own hands without realizing that’s what we’ve been doing, we eventually raise the white flag and say, help. And then we start to unwind and get it. When we sit on our high horse and judge others, looking down our nose at them, there’s something going on within us that wants to be rectified.
Whatever it is, whether we had an experience in the past with people like that and it’s still triggering us and making us angry, or whether it’s a reflection of some way that we are ourselves that we haven’t wanted to face as a shadow. Whatever it is, whatever it is, it doesn’t even almost really matter which thing it is. But if we’re triggered, angry, and upset with someone, thatis an opportunity to dissolve the charge. That is the opportunity to rectify something within before going out and causing trouble in the field. And our minds and our thoughts cause trouble as well by thinking. And sometimes, literally, when you hit a big trigger, you might not feel like you’re in control of your thoughts at that moment. But isn’t that a beautiful thing, and isn’t that a beautiful time to take a moment to go within? Sometimes, really intense situations like that push us within. Almost it’s like the pressure cooker. It’s the pressure that’s needed to get us to sit down, calm our thoughts, breathe, and reconnect with the pre -existing truth of our unity and oneness, which is unconditional love.
We have to give it up. We have to surrender. This is the meaning of surrender. It’s the ego personality, attached to its own perception, that’s afraid of being judged, cast out, harmed, slandered, abandoned, or rejected. Whatever it is, that root core sphere of separation gets triggered. And so we get a chance to face it and heal it and to rectify that within ourselves to know that we are in fact okay, that we are in fact love, that we are in fact at one with the eternal beingness or beyond being really when you ultimately go there with the great masters beyond the creation as we know it, one with the eternal beingness or beyond being really when you ultimately go there with the great masters beyond the creation as we know it, as we understand it now. into the all that is and all that is is as it is because it is there’s nothing to judge that’s what the great masters know and learn and see and understand because they’re seeing from the perspective of of the all that is they’re not seeing anymore from the perspective of a limited human being and so the spiritual journey is to awaken to that which already is within us so the spiritual journey is to awaken to that which already is within us and to learn how to extend that forgiveness and unconditionally love that we want for ourselves to others.
The first step is truly to forgive ourselves, to give up the old for the new, to give up the old thought of fear of our own guilt, shame, judgment, and also extend it to the others to ask to see the truth of these other beings as well.
However, someone’s behavior is because of their conditioning. Whatever someone’s done is because of what happened to them before. If we don’t prefer it, we don’t have to dance with it. Yet we also don’t have to go down the slander and gossiping route with it either. We can just take responsibility for what we like and what we don’t like, what we gravitate toward and what we don’t. And also use it as an opportunity to practice unconditional love for all that is as it is, exactly here, exactly now, and to bring on great compassion. And anywhere that we’re triggered, we truly do need to take responsibility for that and allow the mighty healing power of love and grace to heal the trigger and to get to the bottom of it and the root of it. And this is where energy healing, prayer, having sessions with others who… can help you or going in your own personal process or your own religion or your own tradition to do the work to rectify that charge pluses and minuses to equal it out anywhere we have a wobble and we’re going too far to a plus or too far to a minus this is why we neither make ourselves too high nor too low So if we have too much of a plus and we’re on a high horse or we have too much of a minus and we’re denigrating ourselves, neither one of those is the truth. Neither one of those is the truth. We are all the same. We are all equal. We are all at one with the prime creator already. And so this process of awakening to that, you could call it atonement or at -one -ment. We are remembering our at -one -ment and remembering the truth, therefore, and calling upon great healing. And we can pray and ask and visualize and imagine and intend, whatever word you like to use most, that we seal our lips whenever we’re tempted to speak against another, that we finally get the lesson that speaking against another, casting aspersions on them, slandering their character, blaming them, is not going to help anybody or anything. It’s just going to keep leading people astray. It’s just going to keep leading us and others straight down into that mire of the guilt-punishment cycle, the higher-than-lower-than, being on your high horse versus being cast down and rejected. Like, in order for somebody to be cast down and rejected, somebody else has to be on their high horse. So do you want to keep playing that game or do you want to balance it out? Each one of us has a choice of when and how to do that. And there’s no judgment on it. But I vote our victory in overcoming this for all those who do wish to overcome it.
So let’s say a prayer now for our world, our people, our community, our families, our loved ones.
Creator of All Creators, Being of All Beings, Light of All Lights, Love of All Loves, Thank You so much for the humbling lessons of balancing this out and neither making ourselves too high. nor too low, neither judging others nor judging ourselves, and striving instead to see your higher perspective of all things so we can navigate and understand with your grace and your love and keep creating more and more positive, loving, harmonious experiences between one another while we are still in this experiment, experience on this plane we call the earth plane. We call this 3D. We call this game board. Whatever you want to call this, maya, this illusion, this reality experience we’ve been having. Help us to forgive ourselves. Help us to forgive one another. Help us to see beyond our limited perception and see God in the eyes of everyone and everything to remember our preexistent unity. And as we do this, Creator, thank you for helping us to keep our mouths closed. if we don’t have a beneficial thing to say about someone else, and to calm our minds when we can’t stop thinking a bad thing about someone else.
Or if somebody else has said things against us, not to retaliate by doing the same thing. Or if someone feels hurt by others’ words and actions, to seek the truth within ourselves and to remember our holy nature. To remember the truth of us. To remember our pre -existing unity. And to forgive them for that. To truly forgive them, because they truly know not what they do to themselves. They don’t remember in that moment, that one little place. They do not remember unity. And they feel the need to cast aspersions. We’ve all done it. None of us here, I can imagine, has not done it at some point. And so let that pattern come to an end in me and all who wish it. Let that set of lessons come to closure and completion for the benefit of all beings, creator, in whatever ways truly for each of our highest good. We humbly and gratefully give thanks for this.
And we ask to be cleaned and washed in the waters of Spirit, the waters of heaven, the waters. The holy waters of the Holy Spirit of love, by whatever name and whatever tradition, whatever way you want to call that. Source, love, God, goddess, all that is. Any of the master teachers, any of the names of God, call the one that you like. And again, let’s learn how not to cast dispersions on those who are calling it a different name, but instead recognize that the spirit of all goodness, the all that is. everywhere present and has many names. thank you God, thank you God, thank you God. so be it, and so it is. I am grateful for this transmission. Have a fully blessed day.
